A Bit About Patricia EnockGrowing up, Patricia Enock used to excel in school. To her great disappointment, her parents were unable to continue paying her tuition fees, and she was forced to drop out. She was just one class away from completing her secondary education. Two years later, Patricia married a truck driver. She earns a living by selling clothing, and when she joined a local FINCA Village Bank several years later, she was able to further capitalize her business with her FINCA loan. Business has been good, and with her earnings, Patricia has been able to supply her house with furniture, a television, and kitchen utensils, as well as look after her parents in their home village. Patricia and her husband have 2 young children, and she dreams of giving them a bright future. She hopes to branch out into agriculture, so that she can increase her income and “educate my children through to university,” she says, and continue to help her family live more comfortably.
